May Processions

Where have all the May processions gone?

Drogheda
The annual May Day Eucharistic procession will take place on Saturday 1st May commencing with Mass at 6.15 pm in St. Peter's Church processing from there at 6.45 pm and arriving here to St. Mary's Church for Benediction at 7.15 pm.

Of critical importance in this year's procession is the central role of Youth organisations ( including Youth 2000). Youth groups north and south of the border will attend thus encouraging a more inclusive and active Youth participation in our Christian heritage. The Procession will also be attended by many other Religious groups. All are welcome to join in the Procession.

'God's spirit of mercy and forgiveness' is the central theme this year, with particular emphasis on church renewal.

Our Lady, Queen of May, pray for us. St. Joseph, the worker, pray for us.

Tralee
OUR LADY OF FATIMA PROCESSION: will take place on Monday, May 3rd leaving St Brendan’s Church at 7pm arriving at Holy Cross Dominican Church at 7.30pm where recitation of the Rosary and ediction will be held.
