Apostolic Visitation Begins in Drogheda

The former archbishop of Westminster Cardinal Cormac Murphy O’Connor will attend the first public meeting of his apostolic visitation to the Armagh archdiocese in Drogheda this evening. The meeting will take place in the Westcourt Hotel at 7.30pm.

Public Meetings

As part of the Apostolic Visitation Cardinal Murphy-O’Connor will hold a number of public meetings in the Archdiocese. He hopes to begin these meetings with some input from himself and those accompanying him on the Visitation, followed by reflection, questions and comments from the floor, and ending with a period of prayer. People, Religious and Priests of the Archdiocese are all welcome to attend these public meetings. Details of these meetings are as follows:

Tuesday, January 11, 7.30pm Westcourt Hotel, Drogheda, Co. Louth
Wednesday, January 12, 7.30pm Carrickdale Hotel, Carrikcarnon, Co. Louth
Thursday, January 13, 7.30pm Armagh City Hotel, Armagh
Friday, January 14, 7.30pm Glenavon House Hotel, Cookstown, Co. Tyrone
