Here is so work for you all. It comes at the suggestion of David Quinn on Facebook.
"Re the future of Catholic schools, everyone possible needs to contact their local bishop to say nothing should be handed over without some kind of quid pro quo starting with a guarantee that the admissions policy, the employment policy and the content of religion class will not be restricted by 'equality legislation'. Start contacting them tomorrow.
PS Spread the word far and wide. There can be no passivity on this one or we'll only have ourselves to blame if it all goes pear-shaped.Your local TD should also be contacted, especially FG ones, and told you would be very concerned if the schools are taken away in return for nothing and if FG caves into Lab on this."
Click to find out the contact details for your bishop. Most bishops have an e-mail address, so it will only take you a few minutes. I encourage you to do your bit. Don't leave it up to someone else.
I live in the Diocese of Meath so I will be contacting Bishop Smith.
Bishop Michael Smith, (Bishop of Meath)
Bishops’ House, Dublin Road, Mullingar, Co Westmeath
