‘If you love me you will keep my commandments" John 14:15

The "if " in today's Gospel seemed to be shouting at me. I do try to follow Christ, but I just keep on failing. Thankfully, Jesus is forgiving, and I can trust in his mercy. But if I love Jesus more than anything, I should really try to root sin out of my life completely. Mind you, this is easier said than done, but confession does help.
