I don't think that man should have brought those children and use them at a political rally. I think people that do that are shameless.
Anonymoose,My children had a great day at the rally for life. The rally was a celebration of life. There were loads of children there, there was baloons, music, dancing, and loads of happy, joyful people. It was a real family affair. The only shameless people were the nasty pro-choice people shouting and jeering around the GPO.Children are what the Pro Life movement is about.
It looks to me as if children had a great day out. These children are the future of our country and learning to respect life from an early age can only make that future a lot better.
The only thing that was unsuitable for children was the vile abuse hurled at the pro-life people by the nasty shower at the GPO who cared little about the children, I can assure you.
"Anonymoose" is clearly of the same persuasion as the mob that attacked people attending the Rally as they passed. The Rally was about standing up for the dignity and sacredness of all human beings and the fundamental right to life. It is not only appropriate that children should be taught these basic truths but the duty of every parent to so do. It is, furthermore, important that children are involved in such moral and civic activities with their parents. The natural tendency to justice and truth in children should be encouraged, allowed to flourish. It makes for great citizenship.Obviously, it would be immoral to involve children in, or expose them to, anything that is, in itself, immoral, such as calling for the legalisation of abortion or legal recognition of sexual relationships between persons of the same sex.
Well said Lynda.
