Dana fought a good fight on the "Late Late Show"

Dana Rosemary Scallon fought a good fight on the Late Late Show tonight, despite RTE's best efforts. She was the only candidate that appeared to have any real agenda. The others candidates merely spouted well meaning sentiments, that lack any real practical application. She said that she wanted to protect our Constitution, which is under serious threat from Europe. Her attack on Europe went down a treat with the audience. Dana has been warning the people of Ireland about Europe's real agenda for years. It is a pity that more people did not listen to her. Time has proved that Dana was right about Europe. She recieved spontaneous applause at one point, which Tubridy stopped. Why? He basically told the audience that they were not allowed to clap. Cheeky sod! Unfortunately, her good work was probably undone when Ryan, proceeded to hold Dana accountable for the church child sex abuse mess. Tonight Dana appeared to be the best person for the job, but I do not think that we as a people even deserve somone of her integrity. If Barabas (Matthew 27:21) was running for president we would probably elect him!

This is one aspect where Dana gets it badly wrong.

Love Long European Unity!

European unity is one thing, a European constitution is quite another.

I agree with you though that the Constitution needs to be retained. Labour and Fine Gael want to create a new constitution to leave a legacy for themselves. The 1937 Bunreacht na hEireann is not a perfect document but whatever would replace it would necessarily be worse and would be full of PC babble. Any attempt to do so should be fiercely resisted wholesale.

I'sorry I don't have a vote because I live in Co Antrim but I will send £25 for her campaign. Apparently only Dana will refuse to sign a bill which will permit abortion and same sex 'so called marriage'. Full marks to her and may God bless her efforts to stem the tide of perdition.
