Today's feast is much misunderstood. Watch this video and see that many of us Catholics "don't know Jack!

Of course he don't know Jack either if he thinks the Feast of the Immaculate Conception was approved in 1854 - it's been celebrated in the Eastern Church since the 5th century and in the West since 11th century.

The Doctrine was "defined", "codified" (?) in 1854.
